Ingredients

Guacamole Ingredients
  • 3 ripe avocados
  • 0.5 small yellow onion finely diced
  • 2 Roma tomatoes diced
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper seeds removed and finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lime juiced
  • 0.5 teaspoon sea salt or to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • Fork
  • Knife
  • Spoon
  • Cutting board

Method

  1. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork until you reach your desired consistency — chunky or smooth.
  3. Add the onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeño, garlic, lime juice, and sea salt to the bowl.
  4. Stir everything together until well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos, bowls, and more.

Notes

If using small avocados, add one extra for the right amount. Always use fresh lime juice instead of bottled for the best flavor. For a spicier version, try using a serrano pepper or leave in some jalapeño seeds.
