  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat flaked
  • 0.5 cup celery finely chopped
  • 0.5 cup reduced-fat ranch dressing
  • 0.33 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon fresh parsley minced

Method
 

  1. Flake the imitation crabmeat into small pieces using your hands or a fork.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the crabmeat, chopped celery, ranch dressing, mayonnaise, sugar, and parsley.
  3. Gently stir the mixture until all ingredients are fully combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  5. Before serving, give the salad a final stir. Serve chilled.

Notes

You can substitute imitation crab with fresh crab if available. Add a dash of Old Bay seasoning or cayenne pepper for extra flavor. Serve with crackers, on lettuce wraps, or in sandwiches.
