Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound fresh ginger no need to peel
  • 1 medium fresh turmeric root
  • 1 whole orange peeled
  • 3 whole lemons peeled
  • 1 pinch cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or regular water

Equipment

  • Blender or Juicer
  • Fine-mesh strainer
  • Small glass bottles
  • Cutting board
  • Knife

Method

  1. Wash all produce thoroughly. Peel the orange and lemons. Chop the ginger and turmeric into smaller pieces (no need to peel them).
  2. For Blender Method: Add all ingredients to your blender and blend until completely smooth. Pour mixture through a fine mesh strainer and press the pulp to extract maximum juice.
  3. For Juicer Method: If you own a juicer, simply feed all ingredients through it. This method extracts more juice and requires less straining.
  4. Pour finished shots into small glass bottles or one larger container. Store in the refrigerator for up to one week.
  5. Shake before drinking and start with half a shot to test your tolerance. Consume on an empty stomach for best absorption.

Notes

Storage Tips: Store in airtight glass containers in the refrigerator for up to one week. For longer storage, freeze in ice cube trays for up to three months.
Customization: Add pineapple or mango for sweetness, or a pinch of black pepper to boost turmeric absorption.
Serving Suggestions: Dilute with fruit juice, mix into smoothies, or add to herbal tea if the flavor is too intense.
Health Note: Start with small amounts and consult your doctor if you have health concerns or take medications.
