Ingredients
  

Cream Base
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened to room temperature
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fruit and Topping
  • 2 pounds red grapes washed and chilled, seedless preferred
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts toasted if desired

Method
 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until completely smooth and well combined.
  2. Gently fold chilled grapes into the cream mixture using a large spoon. Coat each grape without crushing them.
  3. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and chopped walnuts until combined.
  4. Sprinkle the brown sugar and walnut mixture evenly over the grape mixture.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight before serving. Serve cold.

Notes

Storage: Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. The salad may release some liquid over time, which is normal.
Make-Ahead Tips: You can soften cream cheese and wash grapes the night before, but assemble the complete salad on the day you plan to serve it for best texture.
Variations: Try adding fresh strawberries or blueberries, chopped chocolate candy bars, or crushed graham crackers for different flavors.
