Ingredients
  

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon pepper seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Stir in fresh lemon juice, honey, lemon pepper seasoning, and lemon zest.
  4. Add salt and optional hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce if using.
  5. Simmer gently for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  7. Use immediately or let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For spicier sauce, add more hot sauce or a pinch of cayenne.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Reheat gently before using as the sauce will thicken when cold.
  • For thinner sauce, add a splash of chicken broth.
