- Optional: Prepare glass rims by moistening with a lime wedge and dipping in salt or chili lime seasoning on a plate.
- Combine mango chunks and lime juice and orange juice in a blender. Add agave nectar and ice cubes.
- Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust sweetness (agave) or tanginess (lime juice) if desired. Blend briefly again if adjusted.
- Pour into prepared glasses.
- Garnish with lime wedges or mango slices, if using. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Use ripe, sweet mangoes (like Ataulfo or Kent if available) for the best flavor and texture.
- Freshly squeezed lime juice provides the best authentic margarita tang.
- Adjust agave nectar based on mango sweetness and personal preference – always taste!
- Frozen mango can be substituted for a thicker, frostier texture (may need less ice or more liquid).
