Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh mango chunks (approx. 1 large mango)
  • 1 ½ cups pineapple juice (unsweetened )
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 cup chilled sparkling water or club soda
  • 1 cup ice cubes (Optional - taste mixture first!)
  • Fresh Mint Sprigs or Pineapple Wedges or Mango Slices (For Garnish)

  • 2 Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • Serving Glasses

Method
 

  1. Combine fresh mango chunks, pineapple juice, and lime juice in a blender.
  2. Blend on high speed until completely smooth.
  3. Add ice cubes to the blender.
  4. Blend again briefly until the ice is crushed and the mixture is chilled.
  5. Pour the mixture into serving glasses, filling about three-quarters full.
  6. Top each glass with chilled sparkling water or club soda.
  7. Garnish as desired (mango slice, lime wheel, mint) and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use ripe mango for the best natural sweetness.
  • Adjust sweetness by adding a teaspoon of agave or simple syrup if needed, though usually unnecessary with ripe fruit.
  • For a slushier texture, use frozen mango chunks and adjust ice accordingly.
  • Store the blended fruit base (without ice or sparkling water) in the fridge for up to 24 hours. Add ice, blend, and top with fizz just before serving.
